Krzysztof Kciuk wins the Polish Qualifier

The first polish qualifying tournament for the PDC World Darts Championship was played last weekend in the city of Garzow. 32 players qualified for this final event with the great chance of winning a place in the Preliminary Round at the Ally Pally.



The polish player were very interestered to the PDC and expecially the PDC Europe Events. The winner of this tournament
Krzysztof Kciuk and the polish international Krzysztof Ratajski have already registered für the upcoming German Darts Championship. Further players intend to take part at the PDC Europe Events next year.



Krzysztof Kciuk was the dominating player in this event and booked his place in the final with wins against Michal Sebastian Gajos, Arkadiusz Niekrasz and Artur Siekierski. His opponent was Tomasz Mikolajczyk who gets into the final with a 6:4 win against Maciej Kokowski.



Both players had chances to win the first three Legs, but
Mikolajczyk could not hit a double. With Legs of 24, 21 and 21 Darts Kciuk took an early 3:0 before Mikolajczyk put himself on the scoreline with a 15 Darter.



But Kciuk was to strong an took the next three Legs without reply in 18, 17 and 18 for an 6:1 win and for a place on the biggest stage. Kciuk i now the first polish player to play the PDC World Darts Championship.
